PG&E Is Here To Help

This is a reminder that PG&E's summer electric rates begin on May 1st and extend to October 31st each year. Summer rates are more expensive than winter rates, especially if you are billed on a rate schedule whose charges vary by time of day and season of year (time-of-use or TOU rates). This would be a good time to look for opportunities to shift load out of the peak period: noon to 6pm, Monday through Friday. To see the impact of the seasonal and TOU rate components-there are tables under rate information that summarize charges for each Rate Schedule.
