PG&E Is Here To HelpThis is a reminder that PG&E's summer electric rates begin on May 1st and extend to October 31st each year. Summer rates are more expensive than winter rates, especially if you are billed on a rate schedule whose charges vary by time of day and season of year (time-of-use or TOU rates). This would be a good time to look for opportunities to shift load out of the peak period: noon to 6pm, Monday through Friday. To see the impact of the seasonal and TOU rate components-there are tables under rate information that summarize charges for each Rate Schedule. PG&E is also ready to assist your business as you look for ways to control energy costs through energy efficiency by offering rebates and incentives on qualifying end use and process changes. Click for more information on Rebate Incentives. Ann Denison, PG&E Account Executive is ready to help answer your questions: 530-889-5034 or ahd3@pge.com. Chamber Communication Survey Results Are In:
