Solano County Office of Education

In response to information gathered during Business Walk 2016, support high school students learning workplace skills through an after-school Work Ready Certification program in coordination with the Solano County Office of Education and Vacaville Unified School District. The three-week student commitment includes resume building, interviewing, business math testing, customer service training, dress code protocol and other entry-level skills. Fifteen business leaders interviewed fifty students in the program's first year.
